Our Story
Where Northern Michigan
Comes to Create
A nonprofit organization dedicated to positively impacting the lives of youth through the transformative power of dance, theater, and music.
Our Mission
Training the Whole Artist
Northern Michigan Performing Arts Center is a new nonprofit organization with a singular purpose: to use the performing arts as a force for positive change in the lives of young people. We believe that dance, theater, and music don't just build technique — they build character, confidence, and community.
NMPAC was built from the ground up by college-educated performing arts professionals who are passionate about bringing world-class instruction to Northern Michigan. Every class, every rehearsal, every performance is an opportunity to shape a young life for the better.
